Medicare 101 and Regulatory Updates

This full day presentation will focus on Medicare Part A and Part B billing, coverage and documentation requirements and is appropriate for anyone with Medicare billing responsibility. We will provide a thorough regulatory update and provide a detailed description of how each regulatory change affects your billing practices and cash flow. This presentation includes comprehensive coverage of PPS excluded services along with the correct billing for ambulance services. We review all components of the PPS and MDS systems. This presentation also provides a full understanding of Medicare Part B billing under the latest fee schedule that will be available for most items. Medicare Part B Billing and Coverage
This presentation will review the basics of SNF Medicare Part B billing. We will discuss the services and supplies that can be billed by a SNF using form UB-04. We will include the basic elements of the Medicare Part B claim, common billing errors and tips on how to prevent and reduce denials. MDS Training & Documentation
