Pam Cogswell has over 26 years experience in the healthcare industry specializing in Longterm Care. During her 26 years Pam has held positions ranging from Business Office Manager, Senior Payroll, Human Resources, Medicaid Specialist, Ward Clerk, Central Supply Clerk and L&I Manager. These positions have helped Pam develop a well rounded and in-depth understanding of what it takes to create and consistently implement an organization’s core values.
Before coming to CBSI, Pam worked for a National Healthcare Company as a Business Office Manager & Senior Payroll Clerk. A large part of her role was to keep the A/R over 90 under 10% or 30 days outstanding. Pam specializes in trouble shooting, assessing and training in business office systems. Pam has trained receptionists, business office staff on such things as managing & billing of Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and HMO, supplemental insurances, payroll, resident trust accounts & collections.
Pam’s greatest strength is the ability to reduce accounts receivable through diligent collection efforts, and work with multiple long-term care software packages. During her Career, Pam has managed dozens of Medicaid Third Party Liability (TPL) audits including several that are deficiency free. Pam has written and implemented action plans where needed so all parties involved succeeded in reducing receivables.
