Missy Tieken has over 24 years of experience in the healthcare industry with the past 15 years as a Financial Consultant specializing in Longterm Care. During her 24 years Missy has held positions ranging from Director of Billing Services, Financial Accounting Analyst to Business Office Manager & Controllers, Senior Payroll, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources, Medicaid Specialist, and L&I Manager in a corporate setting. These positions have helped Missy develop a well rounded and in-depth understanding of what it takes to create and consistently implement an organization’s core values.

Most recently, Missy worked for a National Healthcare Company as their Field Accounting Analyst. A large part of her role was to assure the implementation of all financial and regulatory issues in Skilled Nursing Facilities as well as Assisted Livings. Missy specializes in trouble shooting, assessing and training in business office systems. Missy has trained receptionists, business office staff, marketing staff and administrators on such things as budgets, profit & loss statements, admissions, managing & billing of Medicare, Medicaid, VA, HMO, supplemental insurances, payroll, resident trust accounts & collections. Additionally, she has spear headed several acquisitions to insure a smooth transition on all aspects of A/R, A/P, Payroll & HR.

Missy’s greatest strength is the ability to reduce accounts receivable through diligent collection efforts, and work with multiple longterm-care software packages. During her career, Missy has managed dozens of Medicaid Third Party Liability (TPL) audits including several that are deficiency free. Missy has written and implemented action plans where needed so all parties involved succeeded in reducing receivables. She has held special group training on automated systems as well as roll out of new programs.
